the pursuit of happyness.

Well, I guess I'll start with Happy Holidays! Hope you guys got everything you wanted and some stuff, not so much. haha There's nothing like drinking five bottles of red wine with your family and being so god damn joyful, you drop your camera into the hottub. (Oops!)

I always feel so sad for those people who are alone during the holidays. I honestly want to cry for them. Imagine how shitty the holidays must be for people with no family. You know, going to a restaurant, eating alone, ordering a roast turkey dinner with a double whiskey on the rocks. Long story short, I fell a tad guilty for always taking my family for granted.

When you where little, the holidays where all about the presents. But as you grow older, it's more about spending time with your family and the people you love. Or alteast, that's what it should be about.

I watched The Pursuit of Happyness a few days ago and it was really good. It really just makes you think that not everyone has a happy ending. Because if we all where to work our asses off, then everyone would win, right? But this is the real world. And in the real world, there's winners and losers. And, well, that's where the competition begins.

there would be only one thing worse.

So I've decided that I'm going be very productive this break. Yeah, considering that I have til Janurary 9th to accomplish all this stuff, it's going to be quite a feat.
  • haircut
  • dye hair ? (jet black or darkdark brown)
  • mani & pedi
  • eyebrows waxed
  • work out / run
  • eat healthy
  • hang out w/ sara & others
  • buy some cute clothes & accessories
  • go to costco & get photos printed
  • buy Grey's Anatomy Season 1 DVD for jw
  • go to the library & borrow books to read
  • catch up on my magazines
  • watch movies that I've been meaning to watch
Hm, seems pretty complete. Anyway I'm officially done with my first semester at Lehigh. It sort of feels good, actually not really. There's so much that I should have done. Ever since I've been back my mom constantly nags me, "Oh if you don't get all A's." It just doesn't stop. Seriously, I didn't get all A's in high school, what legit assumption does she have to make that I will now? But, really, I do want to do well at Lehigh. I just don't know what happened. Actually that's a lie, I do. (I think?)

a good day well spent.

I will like to think that today was productive? Woke up at 12pm, showered, then went to the library to borrow books and dvds. Ie, in particular to finish up my english class. And basically borrowed the whole Gossip Girl series, just because I lovelovelove trashy teenage novels. It's the Sex and the City in me. Shit, we won't get into details, but whatevs. Saw the "new breed" of Mville AZNs, oh so dandy. Haha, I love it.

Anyway, watched Crash on youtube, napped, and now I'm gonna watch Guess Who's Coming to Dinner in a few. So I'm totally excited to watch the *new* episode of The O.C. Not going to lie. Sure, I was a disbeliever last season, thinking it completely sucked. But, I've changed--and long behold, I'm a believer. I'm sorry I doubted you in the beginning. Fuck Mischa Barton and the *real* reason why she left/was fired from the show. TVGuide says that Taylor Townsend saved The O.C. I beg to differ. Obvi not giving you too much credit. I can't put my hands on why the show is appealing now? But, I think it's Willa Holland. She's the typical badass. LOVEher. And her character. Haha, she's my myspace friend.

It's not snowing outside, and it's not "Holiday spirit cold" yet. So, I really don't feel like Christmas is only 4 days away. Not as hyped up for the holiday, I guess? Weird. But warming up with hot coffee and a blanket and snugglying to The O.C., now that screams a good day well spent.

so i start a revolution in my bed.

Well everyone, I'm pretty much sick of myspace, facebook, and the other 239847 "user-based' websites out there. Blogs are way cooler anyway. So I'm going to actually start using this. It's going to be fun... (right?)

Today: basically went to bed this morning at 4am, set my alarm clock for 6:45, totally slept through the alarm, & woke up at 7:30 from noises in the hallway. Holy shit, thank god I did, otherwise I would have missed my exam foshure. Parents came to take me home, got home, realized I forgot my makeup & makeup case etc. Went back to Lehigh, came back & well, yeah.

I'm so nervous about my grades. I don't want to be a dissapointment. Like, it's always regrets. What is that saying, something something 24/7 hindsight? Psh, basically I realize all my mistakes after the fact. And, I've figured that I just apparently suck at life.
